New Meal # 7-Artichoke Casserole!!

The wife tried  artichoke casserole at an office party and decided to give it a try. Here's how it went.

Wife: Honey, I cooked the artichoke casserole I tried the other day.
Husband: Great, you can warm my plate now.

Wife: Okay.
Husband: NOOOOO!!!!!!

Wife: Are you kidding me?  What, you don't like the texture?
Husband: NO, just NO!!!

Unfortunately, dish number seven was an EPIC fail, FIVE new dishes left.

No More IHOP!!

 A year ago this happened

The husband says" I was thinking about IHOP, but you know how IHOP is on Sundays." The wife says "honey I can cook you some pancakes." The husband immediately says "NO, it won't be the same!"

Yesterday, there was no talking. I think he liked my Pancakes!!

New Meal # 6-Pork Fried Rice & Chicken Kabobs

The wife thought she would try to cook something she KNEW was super easy. Oh no, fried rice is not as easy as I thought and the husband agreed. "Those peas, no something is just not right."  The can veggies were not my friend; I now know I should have used dry peas and carrots. Now, the Kabobs were GOOD, however, the husband wasn't very fond of the pineapples.  I guess I was feeling myself.  6 more new meals!

BBQ Pork Chops & Clean Plate Award!!

The wife decided to cook some BBQ pork chops and received the highest award of the night-the CLEAN PLATE AWARD!!! This is award number SIX!! Therefore, the wife asked the husband if he gives another AWARD, could she remove the word NON? The husband, replied "you're feeling yourself ?" On to the next meal. New Meal # 5-Chicken and Shrimp Pasta!!

The wife saw a recipe on Instagram and decided this would be new dish number FIVE.  The wife asked the husband did he want to try a new pasta dish, the husband said YES, go for it. Well, the wife did and it turned out GREAT!!!  My sauce is a little lighter ,but it is good. The husband said, this is DELICIOUS,  this is GOOD, THANKS! 7 more!! Yes, I missed a month.

New Meal # 4-Pan Seared Redfish topped w/ Crabmeat and Lemon Butter Sauce!!

This meal was different, the husband thought it was GOOD but the wife not so much. I don't know what taste I was looking for but I didn't get it. However, I'm still winning with the husband " I like this" he said. 8 more!!!
